• Good question! This microwave can stand alone on a counter-top or be built in with the optional 30" or 27" Trim Kit which includes the Bottom Duct Assembly. If you install it in a cabinet, it must have a full plywood base able to support 100 lbs. A minimum 20" deep oven cutout dimension is critical for proper installation for the oven and the face-plate to fit flush against the cabinet front. ~ Brandi
