I'm pretty sure your question was wondering if by taking off the doors would the refrigerator fit through your opening SIDEWAYS. A question I have asked elsewhere with a non-pointed answer like the one you got. (*Why would they think you would want to take off the doors just to put it throughvthe same way?*) I'm asking because the depth without the door and drawer fronts (and maybe also without the door and drawer hinges) should fit based on the spec sheet. So, RESPONDER, please answer the question asked or if clearer this one: Can the door and drawers be removed easily and will it fit sideways through the mentioned dimensions without taking any hinge hardware off, and if the hardware is removed will it then fit? Thanks in advance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for reaching out with your question. For the Frigidaire Gallery 20.0 Cu. Ft. French Door Standard-Depth Refrigerator, the doors and hinges can be removed to assist with moving the unit through a narrow doorway. However, please note that even with the doors removed, the cabinet width is approximately 29.8 inches, which is slightly wider than your doorway of 28.75 inches. This means the refrigerator may not fit through the doorway without additional clearance, adjustments, or alternate maneuvering. We recommend measuring the actual space at your doorway, including any trim or protrusions, and consulting with your delivery team or installer for guidance on safely moving the unit into your kitchen. - Jessica
