• The sides of the unit require a minimum of 3/8 inch for clearance.

• Hello, Samm! For proper air circulation, plumbing and electrical connections, please allow a clearance of 3/8 inch on the sides and top of the model. For the rear of the model, allow a 1 inch clearance. Hopefully, this helps. ~Briana
