“Does the drain part go straight down or the old fashion way through a hose to the back drain?”

• Hi there, CC! The dishwasher doesn’t have a fixed “downward drain stub” built into the base. It uses a flexible drain hose that you connect to your sink’s drain line/disposal (with a high loop or air gap) when setting it up. - Maico
