• I don't have that on my model so I will have to say no.

• No. If you read the directions carefully you will see have to run your sink hot water before you turn on the dishwasher. This is how the machine qualifies for a higher energy rating (because you use your hot water heater not your dishwasher). If you forget to turn on the hot water, it will not clean properly.
