“Having loved this dishwasher in my last home, it was so quiet, I didn't know when it was running. Has this model been updated to have a way of telling it is running? Example: a green light at the bottom like the blue when cycle is complete.”

Yes, it has the green light and is pretty quiet!

I am happy to report our model FGID2476SF dishwasher has a convenient LED Floor Beam indicators which illuminate the floor with a blue light when your dishes are washing and a green light when they are clean.
