Great question, Mike! We would recommend installing a filter bypass since you already have a filtration system. A bypass will not filter the water, but will fit in the place of the filter housing and allow water to pass through unobstructed. A15601102 is the filter bypass for your model. -Bianca
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found my own answer once getting the bypass: It should be replaced every two (2) years. As a side note, the provided filter did not seem to impede the water supply like my old fridge, but I still replaced the filter with the bypass as I like the taste (or lack of) the ice my reverse osmosis filter makes by itself.
