Good Afternoon Confused! From what you have described it sounds like the door assembly may have a miscommunication within it. You may need to disconnect power from the range for at least ten minutes. Doing this will allow the range to revert back to factory settings. You can also press the cancel button for at least ten seconds and this may advise the door assembly to release.
