• I don’t know if this helps, but the burner automatically turns of if there isn’t a conductive pot on it.

• Thanks for your question, Aga P. We’re looking into this for you. The timer feature does not turn off any cooking function on the range. The range’s burners need to be turned off by hand. -Chris
