• I didn't. It worked on the same outlet as my old stove. They will however make you buy a new cord if they install it.

• Good Afternoon Joe! The only time you would need to rewire your outlet, is if it does not provide the proper electric outage needed for the range FGIF3061NF. The range needs at least 40 amps and 240 volts to operate accurately. Hopefully this information is helpful to you in some degree. –Thanks!-
