“The "auto sizing" feature of our frigidaire induction range does not work. When testing several good quality pans, including cast iron, water boils in a small circle in the center of the pan. Heat is not distributed evenly. Defect?”

We also have the same problem on our new Frigidaire Gallery induction oven. The range only cooks on the smallest pot setting.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is a known issue, that the auto-sizing feature DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. In fact, Frigidaire told the technician that the induction was working when it had a 4 inch heat ring on a 10 inch pot. They ordered the tech to tell us this because they can not fix the problem as it is DESIGN issue. They also states that we should NOT be using cast iron at all. Interesting because their own advertisement showed the EXACT SAME LODGE BRAND in use on the exact model of Induction. FRAUD. NEVER PURCHASE ANY ELECTROLUX BRAND INCLUDING FRIGIDAIRE.
