Hi, RJR18! Thank you for your inquiry. An appliance is being measured by its height, width (how wide), and depth (how deep). The width of the appliance, regardless if it has a closed door or not, is 30 inches. The depth of the cabinet is 26 inches, 28 ½ inches if you will include the handle, and 47 ¼ inches if the door is opened at 90°. ~Juan
