• When I clean the machine I also scrub the filter with a brush and vinegar. Dip brush in vinegar, scrub filter and rinse with clean water. I suppose you can also soak the filter in vinegar if heavily soiled,

• It was great but only lasted five months and then the programe mode did not work! I then took it back. The store gave me an in store credit.

• Hi, Thoroughly wash the filter basket, the permanent gold-tone filter, the water filter holder, and the carafe in hot soapy water. Rinse with clean water and dry. Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring pads. Do not submerge the Coffee Maker in water or any other liquid. Thank you.
