If I'm not mistaken, you're speaking of the difference between the Neo and the Instax 8. Neo is chic, retro and classic. Has more detailing and is classier. The photo size is bigger and is able to do more style wise. The Instax is fun, conversation piece. It is larger physically, but the photos are exactly wallet sized. You get a nice bang for your $70.00. I opted out for the classy and went with the funny.

It could be that one of the prices just wasn't changed at the time. I now see they are all the same price. It also could be a more desirable color thus them not putting that one on sale
