how long does it take battery to charge? null

charges fairly fast less than an hour

My battery charged in hours on the first charge and lasted good time

Several hours is my be guess in my experience if the battery is really run down. This may depend on the charging source. A wall mount power supply will be faster than a computer (USB) connection. I have not seen any external battery charges, but I have not looked that hard.

It will fully charge in about 4 hours depending on how drained the battery is.

We put ours on at night and let it charge overnight. It was ready to go the next morning. I believe the directions stated 8 hours to fully charge.
