• Hi Bob, the fi-7160 can scan to searchable PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The time it takes to OCR a page depends on many factors including the quality of the text on the image, font size, and number of characters on a page, and the speed of your computer. In most cases the OCR will take longer than physically scanning the pages.
