My dog gets corrections on barking and yelping from being shocked. Kinda makes for confusion for the dog. I had to remove when it first started to break that cycle of yelping and shocks. The collar does not shock for growls or quiet barking.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That feature is the auto rise feature which I do not use; I manually adjust to the level that stops barking and keep it at that intensity. With the auto rise the collar supposedly automatically increases the intensity of the vibrations as the dog continues to bark to a level where the barking stops.
