I live in CA and it's been working wonderfully during a 110 degree heat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The heat might cause the adhesive glue to come undone & camera could fall like humpty dumpty. Then again, DONT BUY THIS CAMERA. Too much $ for the limited features & the NON-auto on/off function (no audio either) You can do better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To maintain a safe temperature for the device it is strongly suggested to never store the device in the car. A hot a car can quickly exceed a safe temperature for the device, even when the outside temperatures aren't that hot. >JF
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.have not owned garmin dash cam in hot weather-yet. would advise not to use a micro sd card larger than 32g as mine would not function well with a 64g card. works fine with a 32g card though with no problems just be certain its a high speed card as garmin advises. also i would try to locate as high on the windshield as possible, behind the tint strip if your windshield has this feature, just don't get tint strip in image, takes a little effort. very satisfied with my purchase so far.
