“I notice when i download a video to my phone it shows it in 1 minute intervals is there anyway to make it just download the whole video for example if i drove for 15 minutes it downloads as 15 individual videos”

It’s probably because you’ve already filled up your SD card. Once it fills up, the camera will break it down to 1 minute clips. I would suggest deleting all the videos on the card and then try downloading the one long clip before it fills up again. Also, you may want to check the length to download on the app. When you select the video you want to download (at least on the app), it tells you how long the clip is at the bottom. You can click that figure and it should pop up with a number of different lengths, including the “entire clip”.

The Garmin 45 seems to only have one setting for recording length. I'm not sure of the benefit, unless maybe it is easier to search for a specific time segment or upload smaller files to internet or cloud. I like all the other features enough that one-minute recording intervals are not too inconvenient for me. That being said, it would be nice for Garmin to offer consumer options for recording length.
