You could technically use it for this but it there is very little Image stabilization so you videos will probably be shaky and the audio is just meant to record a collision or accident. You may be better off with an old GoPro or action camera (I think Garmin makes one) with better video stabilization.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say no. Because looking at the video on to my computer its not the best high quality video you get compared to a GoPro. This is a very basic camera for Dashcams. And the camera only records from 10 - 20secs and records again and again. It can never extend to like 30mins or higher. Reason because its only meant for Dashcams. After it reaches according to it's memory card limit, it automatically starts to delete the very first 20sec videos, and repeats the same things. So don't use this Dashcam for documenting videos. It will delete videos and you won't get high quality colors. Hope that helps.
