• The default setting is to automatically set the date and time from the GPS signal. Just turn the dashcam on when the vehicle is outside in the clear (no overhead obstructions) and the date and time will be automatically set within a few minutes after the dashcam receives a GPS signal and locates your position.

• The unit gets the date and time from the GPS sattelite. You just need to tell it your time zone, for example, Pacific Standard Time is GMT-8.
