QuestionAre you able to remove the camera from the mount if you don't want to leave it in the car overnight?

- Answer Yes, the camera and the mount can easily be removed. Simply pull the camera and the mount away from the windshield, only the metal disc remains on the windshield.

QuestionIs full descriptive literature available, please, such as a manual?. I am looking at a demanding application requiring the ability to transfer events to a computer file and dvd for playing outside the camera. I appreciate the long standing Garmin.

- Answer No it doesn’t bring the hardware to keep it on when the car is off, you should by a peripheral adapter. And connect it from any live + cable near the inside fuse box. See picture attached.

- Answer the video is store on the memory card in the camera until you down load it to your computer or another memory card. When the memory card gets full it records over the old video.

QuestionIs this Dash Cam rated to withstand the heat in Arizona? I purchased a Rexing - V1P Plus Front and Rear Camera Dash Cam and in just a year the screen failed in the middle of summer. Clearly it was heat-related because it had no issues until summer.

- Answer Don't know about Arizona heat, but it can hold up in San Diego weather. I had this for a couple months. This is the first dash camera I had that does not turn off due to overheat issues.
