I have purchased a Garmin in Melbourne and it came pre- loaded with Australian maps and lifetime update to Australian maps. I don't think you can buy a Garmin in the USA that comes pre- loaded with Aussie maps only USA or USA and Canada. But you can download and add Australian maps after purchase.
