How does it work with no WI-FI? null

You don’t need WiFi...works by satellite

You don’t need Wi-Fi this model you plug into the cigarette lighter in your car to charge it and to operate it while driving the cord is included with the GPS.

It still receives GPS satellite signal to compute your location and speed. Wifi is for traffic and weather updates.
