Can i use this in the wild when or if im going hiking null

This model is made for street addresses only. Also it only has a 1 hour battery. However it may be possible to get your latitude and longitudinal coordinates off of it

For walking or hiking, you may want to look at one of the Garmin outdoor handheld units. This device is primarily designed to be powered with the included vehicle power cable however it does have an internal Lithium battery with a life of up to 1 hour on a full charge.
