what is red battery ? does it mean full battery? null

i confuse about red icon.. u said red is normal.. when i plugged off usb from gsp to monitor computer.. it changed color green icon.. what is different between red and green icon? i wish the company provided booklet about gsp.. there is nothing in box except for warrantly.. can u send me describe booklet on line? thank u vm garmin 6.1 lifetime map update, navigator, etc.. for 249.00

The device will continue to operate off of external power from your computer in this situation, but the battery charge level will not increase. If this is the case, the device may display a red battery icon, which is normal.
