“In the audible alerts I have school turned off, but every now and then I get a constant beeping/alarm when I pass a nearby high school. Why does this happen and how do I turn it off?”

Sorry about the issue. A software update may be helpful in resolving this issue. The software of the device can be updated with the Garmin Express program, which can be downloaded here: www.garmin.com/express If a software update doesn’t resolve you may want to confirm that the alert has been disabled.
