1) Recording time is based on the size of the SD card - it will accommodate 4GB to 64GB. 2) Yes, the collision alert is audible and visual 3) Yes the footage is saved as an MP4 and can be transferred to a computer. We do have Dash Cam Player available free on the Garmin website for PC and MAC. \tw/
