Is the lifetime map update free on all models null

Only if the model has "LM" in the name. Garmin puts "LM" in the name if it buying it includes getting Lifetime Maps, it puts "T" in the name if it has Traffic, etc.

No, not all models include free lifetime map updates, however the Drivesmart 60lmt does include free lifetime map updates. >JF
