• The DriveSmart series does not give truck-specific routing. For commercial truck drivers, we recommend the dezl series, as they take into account low bridge clearances, the dimensions of your truck (length, width, height, weight), hazmat, and more. ^DK

• I read your question and decided to find out myself. i opened my new Drivesmart 60 lmt and found that there is no way to set a vehicle profile to tell it you're in a big truck. So the answer is no it doesn't specifically cover trucks.You can check out the Dezi series at the Garmin website https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/cOnTheRoad-cTrucking-p1.html .
