Yes it has Alexa voice feature and does not need to pair with a phone
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This garmin will give you voice directions. It will listen to voice commands. It has to be connected to your phone for those features to work. I have unlimited data so I don’t notice the usage on my bill It hooks up to the same network your phone is on so I’m thinking you would use data. It does have a great display and either the backup camera accessories it is great for that also. My dad finds it very easy to use
