• I just bought this unit last month and despite the claim that it comes with traffic, it does not include the traffic receiver.

• Garmin said that traffic receiver is built into the device, so it does not require special Traffic Cable. It is sold with a standard car charger which seems to be used as FM antenna for traffic receiver. However, you may want to check traffic setting to enable the traffic data.
