I have 3 Drivesmart 65. All have given me no trouble at all and have updated several times recently.

The Garmin website has an article on the support link about devices restarting that you may find helpful. My wife has a 61 and she's never had any issues with it shutting down and restarting. I have the 65 and it works fine too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I noticed the unit does this if running on battery, especially if the battery is low. Plugging the unit in has solved the problem. I used to use my Nuvi 1450 on battery in multiple vehicles regularly which would run 2hrs without issues and am hoping the 1hr battery won't be an issue. Time will tell.
