“Does this unit respond to optional changes in route?”

• To be honest, I don't know if you can change it using the machine software during driving; although you can set way-points. I have already had several trips in which I made unplanned changes during the drive, and the unit always responded and made changes to the planned route to account for the change. I have been VERY pleased with this unit.
