I have since found that you uncheck CN North America Parkopedia in Settings/Map and Vehicle/My Maps the parking notifications will go away. Too bad the Garmin "Expert" could not provide this info. Expert is probably a robot?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On my older Garmin Drive 51EX, I go to: Settings:Traffic:Map and Vehicle:Map Layers. Then, either uncheck the left arrow for "Up Ahead Places," which should remove all of them, or tap the small right black arrow to bring up a list of your selections (unfortunately, it looks like you have to have at least 3). If "Parking" is in your list, tap it and a menu of other choices will come up. Scroll and tap the right green plus sign on something less offensive. I chose "Red Light Cameras," as there probably won't be as many of those (haven't tested that yet, though). When you tap your choice, it will automatically replace and take you back to your list of selections. Tap "Save" to go back to the "Map Layers" menu. Tap "Save."
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the Parking Near Destination Alert cannot be disabled on the device.
