To activate the Garmin Traffic: Plug the traffic receiver/vehicle power cable into both the vehicle and the GPS device. Power your GPS device on and allow it to acquire a satellite signal. Touch View Map from the main menu. Allow up to 15-20 minutes for the device to receive an FM traffic signal.
