“I currently have the old Etrex Vista. Can I upload my current waypoints into this model? Will the map data I bought on CDs be able to be loaded onto this via my computer? Also, will the Garmin mount (holder) for my Vista work for this? Thanks”

The eTrex Vista uses a serial port (Non-USB) so our newer software will not support this device unfortunately, so you will not be able to transfer the data points with our software. Most older maps can be loaded on our newer devices but you can always contact us direct at [email protected] if you would like to find out for sure, we will need to know the exact map you are using. The mounts will not work interchangeably unless you are using a 3rd party universal mount.
