• Yes. You enable the location via the app on the phone. LiveTrack.

• Another person can see where you did your running if you've selected them to see that on Garmin connect

• There is a "Livetrack" feature on the Garmin Mobile App. If you're using that, it should show where you are in real time. I believe that works on any of their devices with GPS though, not just the Fenix 3.

• While the fēnix 3 itself does not allow for others to view your location, the LiveTrack feature of the Garmin Fit and Garmin Connect apps for Android and iOS can. Using the LiveTrack feature your friends and family may be invited to track your real time activities, stats and data via links on Facebook or Twitter, as well as by email.
