Yes to all, activity u can set, but it always monitors HR and color codes it.

It will track swimming wihen you tell it you are swimming otherwise it thinks you are walking. It vibrates when alarm on my smartphone goes off in morning
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The watch does have auto track. It will recognize your activity and start tracking. However, I simply find it better to initiate the workout (running, swimming and so on) manually because there can sometimes be a lag in the auto recognition.
