My experience: I have have the Fenix 3HR (Non sapphire) and the Fenix 5X Sapphire. The Fenix 5X Sapphire Crytsal and Bezel are scratch free after 2 years of abuse. The Fenix 3 HR has a scratch in the glass and the black color is completely rubbed off the edges of the bezel (with about the same usage for he prior 2 years).
