Is black/red model too big for women? I didn't notice that there was a variation of sizes (it does not say if it is for men or women in the website). I bought a forerunner black/red and now I don't know if it is not too big for me.

No the wrist band runs small. I have mine on the second one from the end.

I did not find the size to be a problem. I am a female with small wrists and I am very comfortable wearing it. I think if it was smaller it might be harder to read.

I have a medium sized wrist and it fits fine. Comfortable to wear 24/7
