- Answer No, the watch does not have a built in timer per se. The watch will time a run, but it will assume you are actually running. You could just discard the activity if you like. Here's a link to the full manual for more information on features: http://bit.ly/1IOeZ48 \tw/

- Answer It tracks heart rates, and times. If you hit a hill, it will show that you exerted more energy. Giving you a hill or increase in levels reading.

QuestionMy Forerunner shows my pace to always be somewhat less than my average pace ends up being. Ave pace seems accurate but it would be nice to see an accurate pace while running. I tried reloading the software to no effect.
