It tracks heart rates, and times. If you hit a hill, it will show that you exerted more energy. Giving you a hill or increase in levels reading.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The direct answer is no, the Forerunner 15 does not measure elevation when you are running. It will track your GPS coordinates and plot what we call digital elevation, this is elevation information that is taken from getting coordinates through out your run. For more exact elevation data you will need to use a Forerunner 620 or 920XT. ~JH
