“My Forerunner shows my pace to always be somewhat less than my average pace ends up being. Ave pace seems accurate but it would be nice to see an accurate pace while running. I tried reloading the software to no effect.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Forerunner and all GPS watches rely on multiple GPS signals to calculate the information you seek. They all have built-in programming to "smooth" these reading out otherwise the information would be so chaotic as to be useless, so between problems inherent in GPS technology and how the data is parsed, there will be errors. Experiences and perceived exertion will still be factors in any training
