• Yes this watch records both pace and splits. You can see it both on the watch and the Garmin connect app.

• Yes, the Forerunner 230 will display and record your pace while running and after you upload the run to the Garmin Connect app/web site. The splits will display in the app/site after the activity is uploaded.
