The Instinct Solar has a waterproof rating of 10 ATM. It withstands pressures equivalent to a depth of 100 meters and is suitable for splashes, rain or snow, showering, swimming, diving into water, snorkeling, high-speed water sports. It is water resistant, but it is not a dive watch. You can get it wet and submerge it under water without worrying about it, but I wouldn't take it snorkeling or scuba diving.
