Yes it does, it also tells you what lanes to be in and often shows a picture of the upcoming intersection or exit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does. Have been using this unit for about a month now. I work 4 days a week and use it for up to 11 hours each day. Its a very nice GPS. The only problem I've run into, is once in awhile, it will 'tell' you to turn a little late. This may be due to the fact that we are pre-programming a route and down-loading them into the unit. Not what you would be normally doing. I would give the nuvi a 4.5 out of 5. Hope this helps.

(In either US or Metric units depending on how you've setup the configuration.) Great standalone unit as it's not dependent on a cellular signal, like a smartphone would be.
