The Garmin nüvi 2589LMT will provide verbal feedback when you use the Voice Command feature. When you find an address using that feature, it will say something like "Did you mean..." and say the address back to you. Also, the device is ready to use right when you take it out of the box. All you need to do to power it is connect it to the vehicle power cable that come packaged with it. The user interface is designed to be user friendly, however we would encourage you to visit the webpage below to view the owner's manual of the device. {CW} • http://static.garmin.com/pumac/nuvi_25x9_26x9_OM_EN.pdf
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes just plugs into cigarette lighter you speak the stress and it will give you verbal directions the whole route
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To start the voice activation you just say voice command. Then it brings up a list of options you can say, like find address or find place. When you say the address, it will say "did you say?" Then it repeats back what it thinks you said and will also bring up other possible addresses or places. It's pretty simple to use. You just have to talk firmly and clearly. I do find it doesn't like to recognize cracker barrel. Everytime, it comes back with crate and barrel.
