Yes it works very well with with all your navigation needs and has construction warnings, split screen on/off exit ramps and a lot more features, my wife uses ours daily as she travels for her job and as long as you check Garmin Express that you use to install and update the maps periodically you should have no troubles. This is the third gps we've had in the last 5 years, the garmin 2555 stopped working so I bought this one and she likes it so much better and has had no issues with getting around with it.
