• Yes, it shows the general direction of any of places you're going, using arrows for S, N, W, E and in between (NE). It's very helpful when you're looking for a place to eat and you don't know if it is in the direction you're traveling. In other words, it doesn't just tell you that the restaurant is 2 miles away, it also lets you know that it is east if you are traveling east so that you don't back track.

• Not as a classic map or compass like icon on main map screen but on the bottom right corner it indicates your direction as N, S and so on
